This isn’t really a ‘western’, since the period predates the so-called Old West by several decades. Hugh Glass was a frontiersman and fur trapper, not a cowboy or outlaw. He used muskets and flintlocks, not revolvers at high noon.

No. Everybody should make the same amount of money. Doesn’t matter whether you’re a movie star, a school teacher, a city mayor, a plumber, a pilot, a garabage collector or anything else. Everybody is contributing to society, and everybody deserves equal compensation. Regardless of race or sex or age or experience.
And when we’re talking about the wage gap in general, white women also outpace black and Latino men.

To be fair, Matt Damon is in The Martian a hell lot longer then Jessica Chastain. Not saying she doesnt deserve more money but maybe she should be comparing her salary in that movie to Sebastain Stan’s and not Matt Damon.
Don’t forget.. this gap being talked about by Jennifer and her pals.. is the white woman gap. White women are at the very tippy top of the crappy wage gap.. but they are at the TOP. Black women, Hispanic, Asian.. not even in the ball park. I just wish that vocal group would mention that as well.

Exactly. And Amy is funny in some respects. But her pulling out jokes that Latinos are rapists in this political climate where people like Donald Trump are running for president is super inappropriate. And that’s what I take issue with.
