There is a ceiling to how good a burger can be, but In’n’Out is not even close to it. It’s pretty good for a fast food burger, but the fast casual chains are often better. Five Guys and Tasty Burger are both better, and for fast food Culver’s is better. Plus any number of local joints.

I was so disappointed after all the hype when I finally got to try it this year.

In-N-Out is, indeed, fine.

I’m not gonna lie, I still like Super Ghouls n’ Ghosts. It’s a pain in the butt sometimes (those imps...) and I rarely do the “true” playthrough anymore but I always loved the terrifying commitment of the double jump, especially on the mode 5 stage. of course, to each there own!

Never played Super Ghouls ‘n Ghosts before a few months ago and I actually ranked it in my top 5 SNES games after playing through it. It’d be interesting to get other editor’s rankings as well, kinda neat to see how different your take is from mine.

Dear Nintendo if you’re reading this please ignore all the hate about Super Ghouls ‘n Ghosts. It absolutely belongs here. Yes it’s clunky and difficult (although not as insanely so as Ghosts ‘n Goblins) but this is all about nostalgia and the Ghosts ‘n Goblins franchise and its graveyard theme are as iconic as it

Super Ghouls and Ghosts is excellent (although I think they should have called it Super Ghosts n Goblins because you cannot fire up and down). The controls are not clunky. The game is just hard and requires you to put in more time than you are willing to get good at it.

A man that says Ghouls ‘n Ghosts hasn’t aged well, has clearly not lived a full life. I disagree with your statement that its terrible. Ghouls ‘n Ghosts is indeed a difficult platformer, but it’s made for the most skillful and able players that shoot for difficult games. (It was the most difficult before Dark Souls,

Yeah, it’s not ideal, basically one month crash diet because I had to stop lifting for two months thanks to some bicep tendonitis (it’s still not better, but fuck it, I’ll deal with it after my vacation). Going from 185 to 175 is hard to do in a month without a serious calorie deficit. My BMR is probably close to 2500

Thanks for the input. I’m sure I’m never quite in full ketosis, I’m only eating 1800 calories a day and have my macro goals at 5/65/30, and I’m definitely hitting something like 10/45/45 every day because I’m still aiming for 1g/lb of protein (also I just love protein) and carbs are just so hard to avoid that I find

No, ketosis is a normal metabolic process we all go in and out of as a normal part of life. Keto diets simply prolong the period that their body is in that process. It’s not unhealthy or unsustainable for normal, healthy adults.

No it isn’t.

“Keto basically cuts out the majority of the carbs and focuses on lean meats and veges”

Meh. I do very well without “whole grains” or “lean” anything.

Yeah I’m cutting weight for the first time in my life by trying a keto diet for the last month. I don’t buy into any of the hype, but I also do a lot of weightlifting so I really just needed a good diet where I can keep eating a lot of protein. It turns out there’s just so many empty sugar/carb calories out there you

Well, my route was calorie restriction —> keto —> paleo so more convoluted.

Nah, I’m not fundamentalist about it.

I don’t know about “clean” but since definitively switching to keto/paleo I got rid of my overweight problem with little effort.

This is a good, brave, and correct #take, Jia. Thank u for speaking truth to power.
