I can’t believe how many people think an infotainment system is a make or break deal with cars.

What is GM’s motive here? I’m sure there’s licensing and copyright agreements that cost money, but do Android Auto and Apple Carplay systems really cost that much to integrate into car entertainment systems? Exactly. Keep the hydrogen and nutso-specs for a track version, but for a street version, take off the dish rims maybe but otherwise give us that sleek look in a nice zippy EV.

While it’s a cool looking car, that design is way too far out there to make it to production in an age where everything looks mostly the same and companies are scared of taking chances.
