G-Wagons are a tax write0ff, that’s why they’re bought by independent business owners. Those people also tend to be the cologne type. But they get a big tax benefit on those because they’re over 6000 lbs. That’s probably the entire reason they continue to exist.

Pedestrian Warning System. Improves flight response, reduces freeze response.

PHEV’s absolutely make the most sense for the current environment we’re in, 100%. They’re hard to come by and most are not very fun or interesting, that’s the problem. The amount of space eaten up by drivetrain may be another factor, but if I could find a desirable PHEV I’d buy it over an EV just for the flexibility.

The Chevy Avalanche seems to attract a problematic crowd. There was just an Amber Alert with one of those as the suspect car the other day, and I feel like I’ve seen that a few times before.

Could it be he’ll soon have trucks to sell and he plays the media to look like a right winger to sell more trucks?

Kevin Paffrath is a financial YouTuber, his channel is called Meet Kevin, he also ran for Governor of California, but the seriousness of that run is debatable. He’s a smart person, but not a serious person. Prone to hyperbole. Grain of salt and all that. Even though he does analyze stocks on YouTube, he’s more

I hope as battery capacity and price improves and that aerodynamics can be less of a priority. It’s effecting both EV’s and ICE cars now. You certainly want as low drag as possible, but cars all look blah as a result. If 600 miles of range or something ridiculous was easy and cheap to do through brute force battery

I guess I just assumed Dodge Challengers went by Gremlins rules, where if you get them wet they multiply. Now that I think of it that does sort of apply to humans, too. Was that innuendo this whole time?

Disagree 100%. Article satire, OP comment very serious, or a bot

Would this proposed canal support those race boats that I see catching air and flipping over in YouTube videos?  I think we don’t see enough of those

Oh it’s totally for me, it’s just too compromised on moving oddly shaped or big things which comes up every now and then. I’m going to dismiss out of hand that I can totally predict what my needs are going to be, I can’t, no one can, but I already know it’s bigger than a Model 3's trunk opening. Whatever I’m doing

If this was a PHEV with the same design, and the back opens up as a hatch and has enough interior volume to move somewhat big stuff, I’d be all over it.  I love the looks of it. 300hp at least, RWD or AWD. Anything fun these days has no interior volume or the trunk is too small to get big items into it. That’s why

The lightness ethos of Lotus may be briefly incompatible with the technology of today but over time components will likely become lighter in weight and they can get back to basics

The new Prius is great, I’m considering one, but I wouldn’t mind something a little more fun. Maybe the rumored MR2 will be it, but it’ll likely be too small to have as an only car, and I don’t have space for 2 cars. The hypothetical car for me would probably be a PHEV, sized similar to a Tesla Model 3 or a Lexus IS

You all should google the study and see what the numbers actually say for yourselves by car, and see which one lost 30%.

That’s cherrypicking. It ignores all the other manufacturer systems that aren’t that hot (or wouldn’t be without CarPlay/Android Auto), which is basically all of them. The odds of the GM bureaucracy turning out anything good, or which doesn’t rapidly become outdated, is slim.

Likely they can’t have a normal release hatch that opens from either side because the pressure is so high it would become a weak point and increase the risk for implosion. The ideal shape for deep submersibles is a sphere, so the pressure is distributed evenly on all sides, but a perfect sphere is impractical, so

These BMW’s look obnoxious, they must’ve hired the designer of the 4th gen Prius as a consultant. I bought a Lexus several years ago and while I could’ve afforded one of the newer ones with the predator face, instead I got the generation before that that just looked like a nice car. Why pay more for an ugly car?

This probably got killed because it looked too different from the rest of the lineup.  The “corporate grill” idea that won’t just die already.  Let each model be its own thing to the best of its ability.  Do a cool design just because it’s cool.  People will buy it.  If they’d released the  N Vision 74 as an EV or a
