That all depends on the engine. In this case, it’s a diesel, so nowhere to hide really. You “could” go down into the bathroom/storage compartment, but then you are closer to the ground. This isn’t ideal.

Thinking on this more, I’d be perfectly happy if an airline implemented your idea along with making everyone unconscious during the flight. Let me sit down at the gate in my plane seat, put me under, then wake me when it is time to collect my baggage.
