Two weeks ago I was rear-ended by a drunk at a stoplight with my entire family in the car. I could tell he was wasted, he blew a .25 at the scene and left in handcuffs. The police were nothing but professional and helpful.

I went back to the office for the first time since the start of the pandemic (I was already 90% remote beforehand). It was a ton of fun to see everyone, had some interesting meetings, but generally got NOTHING DONE FOR A WEEK. And as a company we had by far our best years ever with everyone remote.

How do you spend that much (just guessing it was not cheap) on a car and not replace 6 y/o tires?? smh.

And bikes are now crazy compared to even 20 years ago, not that they were slow then. Even just a 600 you are talking ~130hp with a ~400lb curb weight, that’s like a Mustang with over 1,100hp.

That is a separate regulation that I totally agree should be enforced, ditto for illegal truck lifts, removing emissions controls, etc. But filtering thru stopped traffic is significantly safer for motorcycles and reduces traffic.

Right, reading fail - this is for FILTERING through stopped traffic, which is great for everyone. I agree splitting is not a great idea (unless you live somewhere that everyone, and I mean EVERYONE is used to it) but filtering saves lives and reduces traffic with no risk.

I work in software as well. REALLY hard time to hire anyone... You either have to offer 100% remote with good pay & benefits, or GREAT pay & benefits and mostly remote.

There are so many things like that I would be happy to throw money at, and have the budget for. COTS wherever feasible. If his libraries are that well used it would have been an easy sell.
