^This, sweatpants just suck for working out in. Tight fitted gear is the best, for support and what you called out. I actually have pretty sensitive skin, working out in even a t-shirt will chafe me something fierce... And stop body shaming people who are AT THE GYM WORKING ON IT!! Bulges are pretty darn human...

Only works if you make “woosh pweeee ssshhhhwaaaa” noises with your mouth, that’s the key to slowing down time in combat....

That’s exactly it. It is quite possible to build your own gun and manufacture cartridges, but it is hard and requires specific tools and skills, and a lot of time. That alone would address the vast majority of gun deaths.

I was in tears laughing at the first paragraph alone.

“prepared foods” are not allowed, toasted = prepared. Total bullshit, I remember having no choice but to shame people when I was a kid working a grocery store cash register. It’s food, let them buy it.

Ah, accountability, my dear old friend... Will I ever see you again??

Power corrupts :( Chavez at the end was not a good man.

Studies have shown that being short on sleep impairs you JUST AS MUCH as being drunk (24hrs no sleep = legally drunk). Which makes the idea of medical residents being hazed by having to work insane hours REALLY dangerous, do you want the ER doc to be effectively legally drunk??

Yes. She does still suck in her own ways, it’s just that by comparison she is Moses crossed with Tom Hanks.

Yup, working closely with the NY state AG for one. I am sure he has other backup plans, he seems like the kind of dude that has backups for his backups.

Yah, when Fusion contacted the FBI the response was “we know”, not “oh wow, we should look at this”.

Yup. Just read it in full, lots of nothing. Just the same weak talking points they have been using all along.

All the stars for the UHF reference... such a... SUPPLIES!!!!

This. I have boxers I used for a year, decided I didnt really like them. Sent them back, got pants instead. They are expensive, but you 100% get what you pay for.

Best. Clothes. Ever.

I agree 100%, but accounting for the total costs is hard. ICE engines like this are still important and a step in the right direction. But full EV is the only real answer, as no ‘point of consumption’ generation will ever be as efficient as a purpose built plant (combined cycle gas turbines are very clean to run and

That’s exactly it “grid level”. I think it will be batteries in the long run, but the tech is still not quite there.

Energy companies have done all kinds of stuff, depending on whats available. Running trains up a 10 mile track, heating water to store the thermal energy,.... None of it is efficient or ubiquitous enough. Yet. But that will be the breakthrough that makes full renewable generation possible.

It’s almost impossible to account for everything - what about the rare earth metals and manufacturing required for the EV batteries? Or end of life? Or the fact that pure electrics don’t need oil changes? Really really hard to account for everything on both sides.

Natural gas, one of the cleanest sources of US non-renewable generation, which is a big deal. And until we figure out grid scale storage there is no way away from fast ramping petroleum based generation. Way way way WAY better than any coal.
