I share his stated political bent and fully approve of his statement. Lasers rule, Republicans drool...*

As someone who grew up just outside Boston I approve of this comment. We are called Massholes for a reason (at least when we are in cars).

Voltage is potential, amperage is flow. It’s all related, but high amperage is usually more dangerous than just high voltage (tazer is high voltage low amperage).

Did you read the timeline from the logs? The driver was in control for 11 seconds before the accident. This is 100% driver error, as evidenced by the citation for careless driving.

Did you even read the timeline in the article?

I would have been angry if he had passed me... Because it would clearly mean I was just as shitty a rider as those two, and I needed to go ride off a cliff ASAP.

Not a mechanical limit... the Z800 rider is TERRIBLE! I could pass him on a freaking Harley...

Actually, more and more police are being directed to not partake in ANY high speed chase, unless it’s a murder suspect or something equally bad. The rate of other incidents that occur during such a chase means it’s really not worth it... Get the plate and deal with it later.

She was not just careless. With the window open, and the look on her face she knew that bike was there. She deserved those tickets 110%.

I had a woman almost kill me... Not paying attention, I had right of way, etc. etc... I got all pissed and yelled, and she just gave a heartfelt apology. Totally disarmed me. Still took a few minutes to stop shaking, but the anger just fell away.

+1

^ this this this this. Frequently I am wrong, but sometimes I am right!

^ common sense. I know they will try and kill me anyway, but I never just chill in a blindspot. See riders do it all the time though, blows my mind.

I ride every day in FL. The people you describe embarrass me (and I see them everywhere too)... But in all fairness I see the same ass-hattery from cars all the time, plus a LOT of distracted (staring down at their cell) driving.

You sound like someone who understands the horrors of war and doesn’t want it to happen again. Thank you for your service.

LOL, good to see you here neighbor...

Living in FL I support and reflect this statement.

You are dead wrong. Deals make business, people deal with people they know. I am VERY good at what I do, but I still get more (and better paying) side work because of relationships. Even in your example the relationship supersedes the incompetence (they cannot be fired because of the outside relationship).... I am not

Because business is 110% about relationships. As much as you want to, scorched earth is a bad policy.

A lot of truth, but it also depends on your position and relationship with your managers. I have created change with what I said in exit interviews before, but only because my departure was underlining issues they knew existed but had been trying to deny...
