I mean good for Simmons for getting his, but...was Dudley’s assessment all that wrong? He is excellent in transition, and fine, maybe slightly above average in half-court due to his distribution skills. But guarding him one-on-one is not much of a challenge for a lot of players because of how much they can sag on him.

I’ve said this before, but the nicest thing I can say about Dame is that he is actually as good as Blazer fans think he is. Especially now that he’s added “can play some defense” to his skillset. If the dude played in a bigger market he’d have made at least twice as many All Star teams by now.

I’m far from a Ronaldo fanboy and think that Messi is the better, more-skilled player, but if Ronaldo played for Argentina instead of Messi they would have won the 2014 World Cup, 2015 Copa America and who knows what else.
