They already shot the fourth season; there was a trailer released over a year ago. No news on what's holding it up, though; there may be some kind of contractual dispute.

Yeah, totally forgot about Candy’s brother, and it looks like some shamelessly abandoned storyline, which is uncharacteristic of David Simon. They also let Vince ignore the existence of his ex-wife and kids too much to make sense, considering Vince is depicted as mostly a good guy. But at least they get mentioned…

Yes, he’s great - that’s Danny Sauli. I loved how disappointed he looked in the cold open when they don’t kill Marty.

Apropos of nothing... I really like the actor cast as Tommy. He just looks and acts the part so well or a mid-level, early 80s gangster.

I think “Damn, you murdered the shit out of that muthafucka” is probably one of the best lines of this season, if not the show thus far.

Noooo! This show is SO STUPID GOOD. The second season is a bunch of poo jokes but somehow you end up crying in the last episode during the Horsehead Collective reunion show.

You’ll (likely) enjoy it. Second season is just as strong when it comes to the acting and writing as season 1. Particularly outstanding IMO is Melvin Gregg as Demarcus Tillman.

It’s very creepy. Irene comes off as naive but it’s pretty gross to invite someone who just left rehab to stay at your place and then make a pass at them.

It’s the company formerly known as Clear Channel I believe. Which was/is the owner of a large portion of all radio stations in the country.

Man, that Irene/Shay subplot is pretty creepy, right? Shay is clearly uncomfortable and is locked to Irene whether she wants it or not - clearly better than getting beat up, but it’s still a kind of emotional blackmail, even if Irene doesn’t realize it.
