This looks like a combination of TV shows that have been on the CW for years. Why isn’t this on the CW?

I could have sworn I’ve read interviews with Hamm where he stated that he turned down superhero roles in the past and had no interest in acting in a superhero movie.

Speaking of Bushmaster why was it so hard for him to kill Mariah? Despite all his super strength he couldn’t get the job done and then Mariah’s daughter does her mother in...with poison lipstick. So corny.

I also remember seeing a lot of praise about Luke Cage’s second season being an improvement over the first but to me it was a total snooze.

That’s totally something a Skrull would say.

I’m surprised by all the love Reynolds is getting. Wasn’t he a wife beater?

For some reason I had a feeling this movie would be bad. I think it’s the fact that it’s called “Peppermint” and the poster has Jennifer Garner with angel wings sadly staring at the ground.

Nah I’m good. I didn’t hate it but I don’t need to see it again.

Listening to Jeff Jensen and Darren Franich’s Twin Peaks podcast last year was painful. I wanted to like it but they would go so far afield it felt like I was listening to them brainstorm their own fan fiction rather than uncovering hidden gems that David Lynch intended the audience to discover.

I thought of Angel season five too. Can’t say I’m excited about the Luke Cage version of that.

Yes Trump has given us an avalanche of evidence that he’s racist and yes his base we’ll hand wave it away or like him more for saying it but for some whites, they’ve consciously or subconsciously got it in their heads…

Shades has surprisingly been my favorite character this season but it’s never stopped being silly how often he wears his shades. So many of his scenes are undercut by his sunglasses. 

I also wish they could’ve given us these flashbacks earlier especially in the first half of the season when Bushmaster’s motivation was a bit hazy. Instead of vaguely having Bushmaster tell us that the Stokes family screwed over his family they should’ve shown us how and why.

I felt like this episode went a little overboard with making Bushmaster a sympathetic character. After seeing his mother set on fire and Bushmaster himself getting shot in the gut twice as a kid I pretty much felt like maybe Bushmaster IS justified in doing all the things he’s done this season. 

I don’t know what this is but I don’t like it.
