It’s subtle but he seems to be getting sucked into the cult. I think we see him participate in the call and responses between Brother Love and the crowd.

Yeah I don’t like that Elsie’s excessive swearing is a character trait that we’re presumably supposed to find funny/entertaining. Like you said it feels forced. It’s like she saying, “I’m a tough fuckin’ chick! You can tell because I’m fuckin’ swearing and shit!” It’s like Deb from Dexter all over again.
Every time a host is killed I keep thinking, “yeah but...they’re still a robot that can technically be brought back.” It kinda undercuts all the hosts “deaths”.
I’m in the same boat. A robot with a copy of my personality and memories is still a robot. It’s not really me.
I’m hazy on the Delos bot. His body is a printed body, aka a robot body, but his mind his human? How is his mind human? It’s not his literal brain in the printed body right? They’ve presumably copied all of Delos memories and personalty into a computer and then downloaded all of that into the robot body. How is that…
Speaking of the sphere are we supposed to know what the heck that thing is because I sure as shit don’t.
I’m probably going to hell for saying this but Fahrenheit 451 has always struck me as insanely heavy handed and corny and this movie looks no different.
“On the whole, this isn’t a great season of Arrow.”
Yeah I thought we were going to learn that he was on a brain and/or that he was a Francophile that didn’t actually know a lot of French but nope. Also why is French dude seemingly being so easily swayed by Brother Love?
They’ve gone too broad and hacky with some of the brains this season. Liv on hip-hop brains felt like something out of a sit-com from ten or fifteen years ago. Little white girl appropriating hip-hop style and slang felt a bit cringy. I know that was the point but that didn’t make it better.
I agree. I know iZombie can be wacky at times but the French guy jokes don’t feel like they belong on this show. It really feels like something Rob Thomas put in the show because he personally finds it funny and doesn’t care if the audience doesn’t get it. It’s painful how much those jokes don’t land and yeah it’s…
I agree. Incidentally what’s up with the French guy? That shit is not funny in the least. Just baffling and annoying.
I agree. Plus this season has only been so-so. It feels like it’s time to wrap it up.
Yeah I won’t be watching season 2. Barry is irredeemable and I’m not invested enough in the character/show to see if he gets caught like I was with Breaking Bad.
Indeed. It’s like the O.J. trial all over again. There are things about the case and the trial that don’t totally line up but still I think Adnan did it.
Wait a minute! You’re telling me they’re going to undo Thanos’ snap and bring back all those people that they killed off that have sequels coming out? What is this a comic book?
It’s more the snobby, “I’m above it all” attitude that I find objectionable. If somebody says, “I’m a huge fan of post-punk and you guys are my favorite” all the person in the band has to say is, “Thanks! Glad you like it!” They can skip the eye rolling and too cool for school attitude. They don’t need to snort their…
White suits will be hung up at half-mast out of respect...and to avoid wrinkles.
You joke but I do think that’s part of the mentality for some of the people that say that and I say that as somebody who has loved punk/alternative/jazz/experimental music for decades. Love the music. Hate the snobbery.
I’ll admit that I’m a bit of a cheese ball but I actually like listening to the music I’ve written. I don’t do it on a regular basis but when I do I enjoy it, maybe a little too much sometimes. This article just prompted me to listen to the last song one of my old bands wrote and as corny as it is to say I think that…
