This indeed looks great, and you're right, you just never appreciate the detail in the environment as you run around in 3rd person view. It'd be awesome if GTV V has an official 1st person view.

@Killer Toilet: Pure gold!
@b-radicate: What about Bulletestorm?
No equiptable bunny-rabbit weapons no buy for me! ;)
@Behrditz: Well to be fair, on the most basic level, how else are you going to fight in a fantasy setting? You put a player in a pre-historic setting they "hit things with a club", you put them in a modern setting they "shoot things with a gun", you put them in medieval/fantasy setting they "hit things with a sword".
@KingFrog: BioWare wouldn't know what to do with it any longer. It's too complex for them - too many classes, too many skills, too many items and attributes. They much rather work on something with 3 classes, a handful of skills and simple dialogue trees that boil down to :-) :-| :-(
@zensflare: That's just crazy!
@styfle: and the problem is? ;)
@Batman: This is exactly it. I don't mind faster action, in fact my biggest beef with RPG games is the stiff looking combat, but that shouldn't come at the price of other things. I want 6, or even 8, people parties and a rich variety of classes, or class specializations. This whole movement towards 3 people parties…
I say we (i.e. the people) sue him for poluting the gene pool.

@Joe: Actually I find win7 UI much more appealing. For one I like the glass theme, it gives the illusion of more space. I also find the OS X skin just plain dull. I mean yeah it was nice and sleek 5 years ago, but at this point it's getting long in the tooth.
@data_enabler: I laughed my ass off =)
@james9475: Haha, that's hilarious. Also that last "spanking" bit is just soooo wrong! :D
@TheGreenMan: Mass Effect wouldn't even exist without Deus Ex, and ME2 was more like light Gears of War with a sprinkle of RPG in it.
So how soon should we expect the number 69 to be censored from school math classes?
While it's impressive as a tech demo (in fact, very much so), I'll just never understand people who play first person shooters on an iphone.
I've been avoiding flash as much as possible for a while. It's simply a very unnatural, flat light that flatters nobody - like florescent lights. Obviously sometimes you've got not choice but to use flash, but even then I will first try higher exposure and see what happens.
