This was THE car back then though. This car represents the pinnacle of affordable Japanese sports car lust. It’s a shit ton of money and yet... I sorta get it.

I think that is more applying to the logistics of the hauler companies Tesla has contacted. The companies might have tons of trucks, but they might all be indisposed in the very small timetable Tesla asked for, because Tesla didn’t have the forethought to ask them ahead of time, knowing these trucks are out for days…

Honestly, as someone who is going to test drive one when they come out I could care less about any kind of hype or building excitement. When I drive it is what matters.
