@LordThayer: Wasn't he also involved in Splice? Like designing th creature? He's awesome. I haven't seen Pan's Labyrinth yet, but it's next on my list.

That's exactly the thing I've always thought will be a problem for Kinect in Japan... MS Japan continually keeps thinking what works in US & Europe works in Asia.
@Adhominem: Exactly. Just what my mind is going through right now - a lot!
If it's FOX, they can have aliens and predators in the show! xD
@Thriceborn: I agree, but this is apparently something more serious. And ALSO: this was a trailer, not the game.
@valleyshrew: I agree with everything you said except the violence part and saying Mario is more violent. You CAN choose not to fight in some situations, but you get xp-points or money if you do fight. And I don't think I'd let kids under 12 play a game where you hit people with everything possible... there's a lot of…
@interkin3tic: Post of the year! LOL @ the mental image you gave me, it's like from a crazy comedy!
It's all about the DLC, folks. The PC-version currently has hundreds of free custom costumes/skins (MANY more awesome than Capcom's own, they're really professional), battle stages, remixed soundtracks, and mods that tweak/change the gameplay. They lose lots of potential DLC (Disc Locked Content ;) money because of…
@sanadawarrior: The "business decision" part of my post was not related to the "miscommunications" -part, buuut... I feel like SFIV is the biggest cashcow for Capcom in a long while (sales, DLC, Arcade-versions). Resident Evil 5 was a great game, but is part of the misconception of Western taste/fans.
@Ghanta: Probably "Blank TV Screen of Happiness III"
Capcom (Japan) has some huge miscommunication with its fans. And what westerners like in general. Street Fighter IV was the only good business decision they've really made lately.
@Mentuss: D'oh-Ryuken!
@Santar: "This is just some random guys version of how they could appear."
@kevipants!: Well, the guns are actually the least important thing in DMC-games, one of the reasons DMC 2 gets so much bashing is that the guns were a bit too powerful. They're pretty much just there for the "look" only. It's the swords you're supposed to use in them, the guns are just to slow down enemies or play…
@Daniel Cumba: I'm a hardcore Postal-fan... Especially 2, with mods.It's been a year since I last played it though.
"...and bashing their brains out with a shovel, for no reason other than to accumulate more points in the game."
Oh my LAWL, it looks like Mario's getting hit by the X-Ray -move attack from the new Mortal Kombat :D

@kevipants!: It's *exactly* meant for people like you.. one of the creators specifically said that a few weeks ago :) They try to cater more to western tastes this time. I still don't know how exactly, except hiring a western developer (or British) and changing the look of the protagonist and storyline. I've always…
I gotta admit, my first reaction to this was a loud "WTF".. I don't think Ninja Theory is even a decent developer. Even a local (professional) gaming mag/site wrote an article bashing the trailer here.. and the tags for it as given by the journalist were "twilight", "emo", "vampires" and an offensive word relating to…
