I really like what I am hearing about the enemy animations and pathing. The way each enemy unit/faction has a personality, and how it sounds like they aren't just going to be running at you shooting.

"although what's essentially happening here is that Blizzard is billing a primarily single-player game as an MMO-esque experience"

Funniest thing i've seen in a while...

Wow I didn't realize Mugen was done by him...thanks for pointing that out... I love Samurai Champloo, definitely top 5...

Its different when their are no laws and no definitive government in a game...like in a Post-Apocalyptic wasteland...

Maybe im alone in this, but Im not going to degrade the stereotypical plot of "Resistance vs. Authority" before playing the game. Maybe there is more too it? Throw in some clever twists and turns throughout, and the game's story becomes completely different than what people expect...

You didn't know? All "ordinary" people have the resources and time to do that type of thing. Just not that many of us lazy Americans....

Thanks, I didn't know his name. I'll have to look up his filmography and see what else he's done...

I still enjoy playing the game, but I can't help but agree with you. Mostly because WotLK was a sense of "closure" to fans of the RTS series. WoW really just picked up right where WCIII and WC3: Frozen Throne left off. Fans of that series saw the continuation of the lore involved in those games, and interacted in WoW

So your complaining that an RPG, is playing like an RPG?

I totally agree. Even if it fails it still counts as a step toward achieving the "Unlimited Detail" goal.

So for $300 you could also just get Breathe Laser Therapy...and that shit is like guaranteed to work...

Subjective, but yeah, I did like Hot Fuzz, just not as much as Shaun of the Dead...

Download PSX4Droid off the Android Market, and get the ROM from somewhere...

Ah...sorry...I didn't realize my lord and savior liked mediocre British comedy.

Shouldn't the possibility to make such an over-saturated genre like the "post-apocolyptic shooter" unique and innovative be more than enough incentive for developers like id software to take a shot at it? Doesn't successfully completing that goal not only bring commercial success, but also the adoration and loyalty of

Or just make them larger. With more "Special Skills" that you could scroll through Mass Effect style, rather than just your default attack, grenades, and the 1 class-specific attack...

Id be perfectly happy if they made an FPS version of a better looking Diablo 2...

People are getting way too upset about this. Odds are, people who buy this game will play it on a computer that has an internet connection. Shit, the modern world is connected all the time.
