Split screen multitasking is dependent on third-party app support. For instance, Twitter just released an update this AM to support multi-tasking. You’ll see more apps pop up as developers add support.

That’s just iOS 9 out of the box.... starting yesterday I started seeing some 3rd party apps updated to use the split screen. Plex just needs to update their app to enable it.

I was bummed when I realized that split screen and roll-over multitasking are only for for system apps. So, when I’m watchin Plex and try to do anything else, it pauses the Plex app. That’s... not super.
