Personally, MGS4 is my favorite game of all time across all platform. I like it even better than MGS3 (which most people prefer). Hype or not, MGS series have NEVER failed me.

Get both US and Jap version. Play US version first so you know the ability of each card, then wiki the the cards that only shows up in Jap version and play the jap version.
