I only know USA exists because of their long-time relationship with WWE.

As a guy who constantly forgets that USA still exists (and is always surprised to realize that it’s still around), I laughed my ass off at the gag about it. And I really wish they had devoted more of the episode to that eventual reveal, because it’s probably one of my favorite Simpson moments since “The Book Job”.
I think Lisa as a TV reviewer would have been more accurate to the types of people who write internet TV recaps.
You said that well. I think she’s the sum of all her influences that are unfortunately more interesting and influential than she is. I mean I like her. But yeah...
Dirty Computer was all i could listen to for months and she was amazing in Moonlight - i love Janelle although i didnt see her live when i had the chance so theres that
I’m not all that familiar with Monae’s music, but I’ve seen her act and she’s damn good at that.
They reminded me of the Soul Hunters from Babylon-5 only kind of beautiful instead of creepy.
The ratings for this season are up on last year’s, though.
In fairness, last week’s episode didn’t exactly feel like it was about the monster being misunderstood to me, at least not in the traditional sense. The Pting was basically an intergalactic pest rather than an actively malicious force, sure, but it still presented as much of a problem as a sentient alien would have and…
They did happen every now and then.
I think if I wanted to watch TNG I would just watch TNG.
Eh, I liked it. It was structured and had some solid jokes and one liners. An average B seems about right.
I’m glad that Graham and Yaz got a scene together, I know it’s a small thing but her not interacting with him in anyway was one of the things that contributed to her feeling like a fifth wheel in the group. (The reverse didn’t really apply to Graham because he got ample amounts of story and and interaction with Ryan…
Ksenia Solo gained more fame for her turn in Lost Girl, where she was one of the leads for five seasons than for Orphan Black, where she was just a recurring character during one season.
Someone just starting college has never seen a good Simpsons episode.
Very heartfelt episode indeed. But it still feels like every other episode this season unfortunately. I hope the back end of this season has a bit more heft to it because so far the new series has been competent but not great.
That books is actually about a disgraced LAPD detective named Charlie Waldo who is “living the life of a minimalist in the woods.” Eventually, though, he gets “roped back into working as a private eye” when the wife of a TV star gets murdered.
I liked this episode a lot, particularly after it was revealed Noth wasn’t playing this universe’s Trump. At first it seemed dumb to have two hotel developers running for president, but it turned out it was easier to enjoy the character without it being a direct Trump stand in. Noth was great too. He can be very…
“Shankar would like to The Simpsons produce the spec script he chose as the winner of his contest,”
You must be new here. The AVClub does not review the quality of TV shows. That’s a misconception. The Club strictly reviews the wokeness of TV shows. Needless to say, a show like South Park that not only refuses to wake up but also makes fun of the woke public will never get much love at the Club.
