I’m just glad the Spurs finally woke up. Simmons definitely adds some toughness and David Lee’s ‘bows to Green’s knees and upkicks should make for some good tussles and possibly a suspension or two. Can’t see anybody except for the Cavs beating Golden State but the Spurs aren’t exactly chopped liver so we shall see.

I play in a Sealed Pool League. We crack 6 packs, make a forty card deck then play everyone in the league for standings. Then we crack 2 packs per person and hold an online draft for the cards. 1st place gets 1st pick and so on, then we add to make 50 card decks, play, crack more packs, draft, add to make a 60 card…

It’s funny how much more diverse that Standard was than this Standard, post bannings of course. Off the top of my head Tempest/Urza’s Standard (Type 2, oh the days) had: Sligh/Goblins, white weenie, stompy, suicide black with Hatred, G/R land destruction, accelerated blue, Bargain combo, and Wildfire.

I started playing after the first patch, where they fixed the eyes, and it seems to be a big difference compared to the unpatched version. The characters are not distracting to talk to, or super robotic-seeming, IMO.

They tried that once. It did not go over well.

This is the problem. You guys are so desperate for a story like this to actually happen, that you fall for stuff like this. All to push a narrative.

I agree in regards to the female only competitions. It rehashes that dead horse of an argument that “guys are good at x, and women at y”. Inclusivity is the name of the game, I want to see female competitors get up and stage and throwdown with their male counterparts.

Talks up his competition and downplays the other title contenders’ competition, to be expected.

I feel like a lot of hardcore Dead or Alive fans will love this article, as objective proof that you can enjoy DoA for reasons other than being a pervert.
