Episode was pretty good until the terrible ending. The first half had a very strong Trek vibe to it, feels like someone at the BBC saw the script and said "Toss in the wacky monsters".

Burn Notice and WWE saved USA network.
Nah, I think the show got Lisa’s reaction to that job right.
Sorry about that my device changes it from Monae to Monet.

I think people like the idea of Janelle Monet more than they actually like Janelle Monet. Everytime you see her you think she is going to be unstoppable once she gets that one big hit. Then you realize how long she has been around and that hit hasn’t come yet and probably never will.
Once there was a person who saw another person slamming their skull against a brick wall. The person asked them “Why are you slamming your skull against a brick wall as hard as you can?!”. The person who was slamming their skull against the wall told them “because it’s going to feel good when I stop.”
Wow Babylon 5 comparison. I never really watched that show, which is a shame because it was one of the first of it's kind when it came to serialized storytelling. I will have to take your word for it.
I bring up ratings because I’m cynical. I just don’t see people sticking around because it feels like Chibnall is more interested in giving people a Doctor Who who is less unbeatable superhero and more Trek away team.
Well, the show was brought back from the dead in...what...2005? The show had to do something to stay fresh. Maybe after 13 plus years on the air Chibnall knows that there is nothing that can be done about ratings because casual fans are just ready to move on and they are down to the hardcore fans. Why not go out on…
This felt like an episode of Star Trek The Next Generation. Unfortunately it felt like an episode from the first season. It’s fascinating watching Doctor Who attempt to transform itself into TNG. The big question is will the audience be patient enough to wait for it to mirror the better seasons of TNG? Do they even…
I know that this is never getting out of the greys, but whatever. Promotion and Relegation was a quaint little thing but now that there is real money to be made the owners are ready to pull up the ladder behind them. If people are paying top dollar to own these teams do you folks really think they want to run the risk…
“At the same time, it’s hard to imagine House Of Cards surviving this long if it had followed the weekly model”
We have Seth Macfarlane to thank for this don’t we? "Ted" was a good movie, but c'mon.

No. I’m not saying this is a witch hunt. This is the furthest thing from that. What I’m saying is that when everyone is lead to believe that everyone is terrible the truly terrible people like Gibson and his ilk can take advantage of it.
Sadly, I think social media has created an environment that makes everyone believe that every celebrity/politician and athlete is terrible until proven otherwise. That is how Gibson and his ilk are able to bounce back so fast. When the public is lead to believe that everyone is terrible, they just stop caring. I…
Too many of these shows, it's going to get lost in the shuffle.
You got that right. The scientist from the University should have been punished in some way.
