Well, when the first bad episode of the new season isn’t as bad as you thought it was going to be I guess that is a good sign? I'll take it as a good sign.

The cover art is stunning. The interior art is terrible, because Marvel is cheap. Black Panther made a ton of money at the box office but Marvel still cheap when it comes to a little thing like getting a proper artist?

Really? This was the weakest episode of the season so far. Heck, last week’s Family Guy vape episode was much better than this. Then you go on to say that last week’s episode of South Park was shaky? What is it about this show that brings out the worse in every AV Club reviewer?

Just cancel Bob’s Burgers. No one watches that, which is why it's crammed between The Simpson's and Family Guy.

Nick Kroll is very grating IMO. I tend to avoid everything he is in.

Much like baby birds imprinting on the first thing they see when they hatch many people saw Thompson on Nickelodeon and assumed he was funny. I take it that you were one of those people? Lorne knew this as well and he fit into one of Lorne’s comedy archetypes (plus size) so Lorne hired him. It was a good business

Thompson explained that the people at SNL are in a “service business,”

I think they killed the robot.

“That being said, it was still a solid episode of television, proving that even nine seasons in this is one of the greatest shows on TV.”

I think she would be better off on Netflix. TBS isn't a good fit.

She is still around? Maybe she would be better off on Netflix.

If all the art and writing are as bad as the few pages Laserface1242 showed us I don’t blame the writer for not reading Squirrel Girl.

Larson isn't the most....charismatic actor. Hopefully Samuel L Jackson, Jude Law and Clark Gregg can help out.

I love when there is Family Guy news on the Av Club. The threads are always such a wonderful mixture of rage, jealousy, bitterness and self-satisfaction.

With the success of Black Panther, Wonder Woman and the upcoming Captain Marvel, Birds Of Prey etc Matt and Trey are going to need new jokes the next time the kids play superhero. The opening scene from "The Fractured, But Whole" seem more and more dated. :)

South Park is back. What are you folks hoping for this season?

They wasted too many pages on talking heads. It’s a Marvel comic. If they don’t hook you at the second page something is wrong. Do we really need to see reporters? Do we really need two wannabe Wolverine heroes? Also the cover doesn’t give me a reason to buy the book. I’m not shocked that Marvel’s sales are down.

I care about this as much as Marvel cares about cities that are not New York.

What princess did Finn end up with?
