today’s NPOCP is too nice to do this NP all day
hold on- the link to the September 2017 auction for $14900 had 77k miles and the current listing is 124k miles? how the hell does one do that? especially in an Audi? I’m going CP
Nice work. I will tell you that the fuel filter can be a cause after storage, but not usually at a gas station you drove to. After pulling the carb bank on a motorcycle twice to inspect and clean, the fuel filter was the limiting step in the blow, bang, suck equation.
still have to keep the safety features though, no “seat belts are more dangerous than being thrown from the car”
Strip all the fancy aero bits and use narrow tires. Rely on mechanical grip and large testicles.
Road trip from Colorado to Indy motogp 2012 with my dog. Set up camp across the street not knowing anybody within 1000 miles. First night camping with other random motorsports fans (with a super cool RZ 400 2 stroke) drinking adult beverages around a campfire and sharing deeper thoughts about my divorce than some of…
well that looks vaguely familiar
was it that obvious i was typing out my ass, sounding like i knew what i was talking about? you know, modern political communication- spew and hope nobody fact checks.
when your Montana LLC buys and registers it, no sales tax. since its your “business” vehicle, the interest is tax deductible. US tax code is so fucked up, i’m sure somewhere out there is a tax lawyer who thinks this makes sense.
don’t forget BigOil having industrial hemp banned because the biodiesel possibility of hemp oil was threatening profits.
if anyone cares, my house overlooks this section of the interstate and 150mph is unlikely here. Secondly, my mustang is bright yellow and is only doing 150mph if it goes on the rocketsled used on Mythbusters.
they’ve got 10foot tall game fence here now, so the deer population on the right of way is significantly lower, but not zero.
no lights out here on the interstate except near the exits, which are about 5 miles apart in this stretch of I70.
not quite perfectly straight out here- the interstate follows the Colorado River, goes up and over the train tracks, through gaps in the mountain ridges.
crash at the tunnel, vail pass closed “due to safety concerns”. no estimated reopening time.
cotrip.org (state DOT site) says Vail pass is currently closed. i’d offer up a beer in Glenwood Springs, but i’m pouring my last one as we speak.
since vail pass is closed at the moment, might be tough to make it to summit.
while you may be recalling Chris Farley, I am recalling Jeremy Clarkson declaring it the worst car IN THE WORLD! CP
281k for $5200 as a driver only means LandCruiser, Tacoma, or 4Runner to me. The thought of keeping my current bimmer for another 170k to reach that mileage empties my wallet from its money and replaces it with anxiety.
