Yeah. People should keep masking up and avoiding gatherings until they are vaccinated personally.  I see your point, because lockdowns will ease with numbers going down - but if you aren’t vaccinated, best to probably still take the extra precautions.  

I’ve heard a lot of reporting that the vaccine appears to protect against the new variants. Maybe not as effectively, but still very effective. So I’m a bit confused by this article, to begin with. I think on Friday Fauci said what I just wrote.
