I had a 1992 Mercury Capri (non-turbo) that was black metallic with a white soft top. I bought it new and traded it with 225,000 HARD miles. I drove the car like I hated it. Mechanically, the car was rock solid. Cosmetically, the car sucked out loud. I went through seven headlight motors.

I can’t condemn Mercedes, Honda, Nissan, Hyundai, Toyota or any foreign company that have built plants in the US. They chose to come here and provide jobs.
