I went from an ‘08 IS350 to an off-lease ‘07 LS460 years ago. Just as fast in a straight line, rolled in the corners but was otherwise like driving a fast comfortable couch.  I’ve since owned an ‘11 GS460, ‘15 GS350 and now ‘21 LC500 Convertible.  All bought for half price or less, except the LC.

Because it isn’t their Vibe...

I see a lot of people going from 2010+ 4Runners to 03+ GX470/LX470's to save money and get into something “nicer”. You can usually get one for half the price of even a 2014 4runner with 100k miles, and they’re better vehicles all around with the bomb proof V8 and center locking diff and 4hi/4low plus hydraulic

Too soon

I have to say, I did NOT have “My beater pickup featured in a Jalopnik article” on my 2019 Bingo card but it’s a funny old world, innit?

I’ve always been a Ralph Gilles fan, especially since this:

I was kinda like “Okay, o0okay, this is fine”

I know they haven’t played anyone good except the Bills, but it’s still worth noting the Pats are on pace to absolutely shatter their own NFL record for point differential in a season (+315 in 2007, currently at +175 and on pace for +400).

-This drops the Bengals to 11-25 all time on MNF.
-They’re 22-50 all time in primetime games. They haven’t won a MNF on the road since 1990.
- They have now lost 12 of the last 13 games they’ve played against Pittsburgh, and are 8-27 against the Steelers since the time when Marvin Lewis took over as their head coach.
-And
