Is it my imagination, or does this woman look like Dexter's wife, Deb?
Umm, wouldn't a large-scale EMP (like from a perfect solar storm) damage these? You'd want to make sure that 5 of them were always on the "dark" side of the earth if this happened, which, based on the locations, would never happen.

@Platypus Man: If you like working in an oubliette...
@tj: Agreed!
@_Ko0LaiD_: These are really good for removing nails, and the ring in the handle is typically grooved to open bottles as well.
@Lazarus: ...and ball bearings. They just spark a lot...
@NICU: You get how this is not a single-use item, right?
@gerrrg: Good one.
@Seeräuber Jenny: Agreed on both counts. Biscuit joiner is a good example, but if I thought long and hard, I might be able to use it for something other than routing for joins.
@crabbygeek: Also dehumidifies and purifies the air.
@Seeräuber Jenny: Yes, this, like the bodkin seems like a single-use item, but I think it's because a fairly small group of people (people who sew) use them.
@Seeräuber Jenny: Nose/ear hair; coupons; seam splitter (although it's still clipping threads...)
I can't think of a single, single-use tool. There's always more than one thing you can do with any object... but that's just the MacGruber in me...
What? No slide down the second helix? THAT would be something...
Felt like I just walked through spiderwebs and can't get them off of me...
@Nathan Uschmann: And it's not difficult to become a skilled photographer (different than a natural-born artist who is a photographer).
@Sean Harrington: Sorry, didn't see LankySlob's post.
Love the "How's your service with that?" bumper at the end.
