Was Clone Wars a Disney thing? 'cause Rebels is, and Disney know how to market their stuff!

I think I read somewhere that the showrunner was inspired by the name Malachor from the EU, but that's as far as the connection to Rebels goes.

I'd say story-wise it hasn't been doing either show any favours.

I know shows like Walking Dead do 8 eps per half season, so 16 all up. But that's on AMC.

Odd choice. The Wraith were initially a sucky villain for Stargate standards and only became interesting in later seasons.
