There were also a lot of bone stock GTRs that would automatically remove it’s own $20k transmission the first time you tried launch control...

My money is on a audio mic. You wouldn't want it getting activated my more vibrations from a rougher surface compared to a brand new glass smooth road.

Probably the easiest thing on the car that they need to calibrate.

Simply, no. I don’t think there is a better way to do that.

Technaclly you will get a larger contact patch, however the difference is extremely small with only a few inches here or there in diameter. The tire around a wheel is not like a ridged ring of metal where the length of the contact patch would stay about the same.

How is he not right?

All that I know is that I personally think the rubber accordion looks so terrible thst I would rather drive an automatic than have a rubber boot over my shifter.

I think the bigger reason for that is that the chevy is well, a chevy. Silverados last forever, their owners don’t reed to replace their vehicle every couple of years they can wait until they WANT a new truck before they have to purchase one.

So your saying that you wouldn’t mind if the price for new cars and trucks skyrocketed?

What do you mean "you people"?

Honestly, I feel like the grammar is dead on for Kentucky...

Holy shit balls, I have been laughing at this picture for years now and until today have never noticed that!

Actually it looks like it’s right in the middle of the frunk. Probably takes about 5 mins to pop some clips and remove the plastic trim and then 10 mins more to disconnect the harnesses and lines.

In all fairness, if you get in to a wreck with a Tesla, it will take forever to get fixed because they don’t ever have any extra parts anywhere they can use to fix the car.

Since the chiller has refridgerent running through which is at a much lower tempature than ambient air, it doesn’t need to be large to be efficient. Both of the oil coolers my two cars (oil to coolant) are not much larger than that at all.

Pretty much considered basic maintenance... You know it’s time to flush your coolant system each time when the bottle fails and starts leaking coolant.

Often, depending on the coolant loop, the tank sees the same/near same max temps. As most reservoir bottles often are designed to also function as degas bottles (de-gas aka remove-air bottles) and when/if any coolant starts to boil it will be pushed directly into the bottle before it goes to the radiator to get cooled

Lol, so you must not be a mechanic or anybody that every works on cars for a living...

I would imagine that the required current to the drive unit/s, especially if they plan on releasing a Ludacris Mode, could produce a lot more heat than you would think and require plenty of cooling.

Have you ever seen an engine block?
