I know that, but I thought Lexus was trying to profile people who bought the car. Granted this is when it first came out and things may have changed since then. Here's the first article I could find about that:

Weren't they trying to make this a halo car of sorts, and making an effort to find buyers that would show the car off? (Lexus was definitely doing that with something, I just can't remember what...) Assuming the LF-A is the car then this is somewhat fitting.

no, they cut jason babin.

Well then i'm going to pre-order my wagon from the Tooth Fairy, Easter Bunny, and Santa Claus right now!

but is the diesel version coming to the states?

Weird, I was just going to make a comment about that. I just eyeballed the numbers (didn't do any math) and it looked like price and cost per point had a fairly linear relationship across all of the cars.

This is part of why I think they should have a "performance" total (with everything that affects driving) and an "everything else" total

I was wondering about this as well.

Good thing Sam didn't write this article. If he had it would have been about how a Dr. using an android phone missed a diagnosis and someone died but a Dr. using the iPhone version saved someone's life.

This looks like a Kei car (plow?) that Torch should be all over.

What about Subway? I hear they have $5 footlongs.

Lets not forget about homemade Transformers!

Interesting, thanks for following up from a few weeks ago with this look into the business side of things.

can i get it in a wagon? (sorry, couldn't help myself)

Poor analogy. Enjoying something is not science (and right or wrong based on facts). Sure, a different transmission option will get me better mileage (or get me into gear slightly faster), but I can also get better mileage from a smaller engine, over-inflating my tires, not accelerating ever, not using air

I thought elmo was responsible for doing the rear-ending?

I thought that a good number of minivans had AWD available?

This was my first thought.

actually, he drives something way different.

Fact. I don't understand why people have so much minivan hate. They're amazing at what they do.
