Or, the clerk could explain it. Maybe she did, but I would never shove a customers wallet back at them or be snarky. I would explain, and if the customer got difficult, ask if they’d like to see the policy/speak to my manager.

I never understand people getting mad about refusing to use credit cards without ID. And in Canada, we have chip cards that have a required pin, and people constantly get angry that we won’t enter them manually when they don’t have the pin. Like, sure maybe it’s a small pain in your ass right now, but wouldn't you…
Amen, retail sister!
Man, I work in customer service, and I would never just say to someone, “You can’t buy this.” And offer no attempt at an explanation why. Beyond utter rudeness, of course someone is going to just jump to the conclusion it's due to a personal judgement. If there is a legitimate policy/explanation for limits on what you…
That is an absolutely lovely, figuring-flattering shape in an almost vomit inducing texture.
If it makes you feel any better the new clown looks...far less terrifying.
Yeah, I mean I guess it being viral marketing is better than the alternative but I’m pretty sure it’s still VERY illegal to threaten someone with a machete....
The new “It” movie!
See, I was thinking it would be like a couples massage situation where me and my friend could relax and gossip and stuff, but instead it was two separate rooms with the masseuse asking me questions somewhere between hairdresser and clinical therapist.
Yeah, I’m feeling pretty conflicted about it. It was a good movie. But non-sexual torture of the woman who killed his daughter would have given the audience the same motivation to turn on a somewhat sympathetic antagonist.
Initially I wanted to scream “STILL RAPE!!!”
I was physically sickened by the “Baster Scene” in many ways...and I still can’t really decide how to feel about it
Oof. My instinctual advice is bounce ASAP. Sounds like a toxic environment- a vicious circle of hostility. Maybe just take as much time as necessary to find something you're more confident will be a good fit.
I got a massage once at a fancy spa and found the experience horrid!
I read the thread, even days later I wanted to comment some support! I think everyone pretty much had it covered though.
When I see some of these ridiculous outfit, I have to wonder about comfort. Is this coat super soft and cozy? Cause I gotta say, I probably look almost equally silly in some of the clothes I wear for comfort (I have a bright blue pair of sweatpants...don't judge) but at least I have that excuse!
Hey Josh Pokemon Stay has been around for years it’s called all the other Pokemon games
I LOVE Pete! But that’s cause I love hearing his stories and insights and obnoxious laugh. It’s why I tune into his podcast. It’s HIS, and I love him.
Not set up...just definitely, for sure nudged in the bad direction. Like my friends who say “one more beer!” Instead of “let’s meet for a walk!”
This was so cringeworthy, as someone who knee-jerk makes horrible not cool jokes when processing tragedy, I can’t imagine saying this to a friend and then being like “yeah cool put that in there.”
