“plasticky interior” has turned into meaningless drivel. It’s just code for “I don’t like the interior but I can’t/am too intellectually lazy to articulate why.”

Walmart. Sporting goods section.
Name one car in this class (that sells to this clientele) that’s better.
GM sold 68,000 Buicks in September in China alone.
Wow. Way to phone it in.
Seriously, it’s a good looking car. All too often, jalopnik feels like we need to hear or care about some biased opinion of theirs.
Why did he even bother posting this? No pictures of the interior or the “already dated” rear end. When I have to click over to Car & Driver or Autoblog to find out actual information on what’s posted here that’s pretty sad. But herp derp it’s a Buick so clearly no one on Jalopnik must care.
Awful, just awful... reporting. Not to mention it was officially unveiled yesterday morning (IIRC) and it takes a day-plus to find it on Jalopnik.
Despite your negativity, it looks better than the new Civic and better than the new MKZ. Inside, it wipes the floor with the MKZ.
Real wood and aluminum..... not fake.
I’d like for you to go sit in a corner and think about what you just said. When you’re ready, you can rejoin the group, and we’ll all talk through our feelings about how wrong you are.
I think the general consensus is that the Z06 is better than the Viper in most aspects, despite the two-cylinder disadvantage.
Its not about the power here, just some good vibes and nostalgia.
I don’t see the problem. The car is larger than both the current CTS and the XTS. The XTS fills the spot that the old DTS filled. The CTS is bigger sports sedan and the ATS is the small sporty entry level car. The CT6 is smaller in length that the 7 series but the cabin is the same size. And its a ground up design .…
Man everyone really hates this thing. You guys eat your bowl of nails while I cruise down the boulevard in this.
I’M HERE TO LIVE UP TO MY NAME
I like the CT6 for a few reasons
I'd argue with you but it's pointless. Not like you can afford one anyway.
I dunno why, but i want to see this do good so bad... why wouldn’t someone buy this instead of a 7 series or S-Class? Leaving brand identity aside and looking objectively at the bang for buck coefficient... seems like a pretty good deal.
Plenty. I see ‘em all the time, and a lot are kept in very good shape. They’re really a pretty decent car, actually. My brother owns one and it’s OK.
