There’s no agenda - simply educating people who seem to think that the OEM’s are not tech companies, when they are among the most competent tech companies in the world if you understand how a modern vehicle works.

Really? And you don’t think that GM, for instance, is far ahead of them?
LOL Whut???
Do you have a telematics service in your car - i.e. OnStar, etc., or is it a wireless hub?
How does the ICE (internal combustion engine) get interrupted by an advertisement?
I hate to break it to you, but an infotainment system, one of up to sixty different electronic modules in a vehicle, will not ‘take over control of the car’.
That is not a commonly used acronym - the automotive industry uses ‘infotainment’.
In tech?
Absolutely right - and the OEM’S have 10's of thousands of SW and HW engineers who design the most complex, by far, comsumer product that isn’t allowed to lock up or crash like an iPhone, tablet, etc.
Neither are car manufacturers - not ONE oem makes struts or coils - those are commodity components from suppliers, modified to a particular OEM’s specifications.
I expect your expectation is totally wrong - there are TEN’s of THOUSANDS of SW and HW engineers at OEM’s that can’t just be replaced by outsourcing to China. So many people think the manufacturing is the core of an OEM - WRONG!!!
Mobile phones?
The UAW card is just ludicrous these days - give it up.
What problem is that?
Neutral: What Is Nissan’s Brand In America?
Yeah, you guys really, really need to learn how to speak and spell the language.
Pffftt - amateur - got that beat by a mile.
I hope you are being facetious - crap knockoffs are crap, plain and simple.
1. The Volt is an EV, period. YOu can drive it all year and not use gas - can drive it without any gas in the tank too. Anyone who is still arguing this point is just being annoying. If you want to take advantage of the range extender, you can but it is NOT necessary.
WTH does an F350 have to do with discussions about EV’s?
