This was the “family car” of my dads stable when I was an infant, the others being a Triumph TR3 and a 1960 GMC pickup. 

Can you believe AMC took that beauty and turned it into this? Behold, the Jeep Commando.

This was my first car, early ‘70's something Jeepster Commando. That’s all there is to say about that. 

Elizabeth totally misinterpreted this photo. She did get the young at heart part right though, as the surfer dude looks like he’s probably their father.

This high-quality and very humorous post is subtle enough that I almost felt bad for a moment about constantly making jokes about people from Indiana.  That moment has passed, mind you, and so I won’t stop, but this was damn good and I want you to know that.
