So, if the important stuff is under the car, then the cooling airflow would then be most efficient running under the car, and, since one way downforce works is by moving more air under the car than over, I think i see a way to accomplish a few performance goals with some aerodynamic changes.

Having driven back and forth from MA to Long Island to visit family many times, I concur that the absolute worst part of that journey is between New Haven and the NY border. I don’t know what it is but it’s like someone flips a switch and everyone goes into “crazy asshole” mode in that stretch. 

I live in MA, and work in CT... Trust me, its not better in MA.
