No kidding. I love my 96' Tacoma 4-banger. Owned it since new. But the sun out here in CA has eaten all of the clear coat. Cost for repaint? $5,000!!!

Go away you racist piece of trash.

Either you’re being sarcastic or serious. Please be sarcastic because that was pretty fucking hilarious!

Correct. It wasn’t an argument. I was merely showing you the errors of your ways. I just like the sound of that anyway.

LOL, I read the article and the statement I made before was in direct referral to what you posted. You can keep commenting but I don’t give a flyin’ fuck. He can’t stop what the state is already rolling into motion.

Too bad. There are over 40 million of us, and what we mandate and require will in fact become the defacto standard for the industry. Trump is likely on his way to getting his ass impeached anyway and the auto industry realizes his admin is a temporary fluke and won’t change their plans, as they have clearly already

Sorry. But I don’t at all buy your argument. There are cars like the Mitsubishi Mirage that cost $13.9k. And then there are large trucks that cost well over $80k. Guess what sells better? Those 80k trucks and most sell in “Flyoverland” in huge numbers. California compliant cars are nothing new. The 24 year old Toyota

Whoopee. There’s 40 million Californians. So in other words a tiny and small number of dipshits voted for em’.

Conservative dipshit assholes....

What does that have to do with anything?

He had better enjoy it while he can: The dude’s pretty close to getting his ass impeached.

Maybe because I’m getting older ( 41) But I kinda sorta miss the brute, “Slab sided” styling of cars from the 80's and man... GM was probably the worst offender.

I have a small 96' Tacoma 4 banger with a 6 foot bed. Its small, fuel efficient, and still hauls more than a lot of the newer, much bigger trucks with these tiny 4 foot beds. I wish companies still made a truck like my current one: The best of both worlds.

Uhh there’s like over 40 million people who live in California. So thus why automakers tend to make California-compliant cars since 1/5th of the country lives here. People making responses here have really gone downhill.

First of all, I probably make a whole lot more than you do.

Californians didn’t...

Its not about power. Its about sheer numbers. There’s over 40 million of us and so when it comes to things like cars and trucks, when we come up with our own state’s standards those automakers will comply with us because it makes no sense to make two different kinds of cars when so many cars are sold here. Besides-

Luckily he probably won’t be president before the year ends considering the past week’s shit show.  also- why am I grayed out? I’ve been on here for years.

When there’s more room in the back seat than room in the so-called “Bed” it begs the question of what qualifies as a truck. This looks like an SUV with the bed added as a quick afterthought.
