...And they’re still playing catch-up.

Why do people live in Chicago anyway? Freezing ass cold in the winter, brutally hot in the summer. And then add this into at as well...

I rode for over 7 years and had a number of close calls, mostly from other people who didn’t see me. But the bottom line is that with motorcycles you usually get one chance and that’s it and in many cases you will either get seriously injured or killed. I quit riding after the last close call

... its a 3D rendering of something that I can barely tell the shape of. Someone might as well have scribbled a flower pot on a napkin and said” ooohhhh... possible car!”

Your not alone. I’d buy one right now if not for fact that my wife says she needs a car that will go for 100's of miles at a time- which the Bolt does, but she still isn’t comfortable with the idea. These are fast little cars too. A co-worker of mine has one and despite it being heavy it will almost instantly smoke

I’m not exactly jealous we don’t get it here. It looks like a damned Camry and there’s no shortage of RWD sedans to choose from.

My truck is 23 years old so its probably due to age, but the sun here is pretty brutal on paint too. It ain’t cheap: a decent one is like $3,000. Oh well... as you said, better than having holes rusted through the car.

I didn’t realize they were fleeing until watching it a 2nd time. Duh, my bad...

If they are enthusiasts they sure don’t know how to ride. Whats up with the four wheeler guy continuously running into the divider?

We don’t have rust or snow, no. But the sun will eat your paint, plastics and rubber. After moving here 20 years ago I noticed that yes- there were a whole shit ton of 20-30 year old cars that had zero rust. But then again the hoods and roofs would have all of the clear coat eaten away and the rubber stuff just shot.

I was actually invited by GM to Detroit 10 years ago for some viewing of the then pre-production Volt. I’d never been to Michigan period. But anyway the areas outside of Detroit were actually really nice looking. I don’t think I could deal with the cold weather but it was certainly a pleasant surprise.

They were when I was 8 years old. The bike is probably now a part of some cheap Chinese dollar store razor blades now.

Way to take my comments into a whole nother’ realm. How exactly do you deduce that I must “hate” everyone who doesn’t agree with me? My comments were in regard to Mr. Petty’s comments regarding standing for the flag, which is basically contrary to what the 1st amendment stands for. And so yes- I have strong opinions

Why is this a surprise? BMW, Mercedes, and Audi more or less make the same damned cars for years with barely a change to their designs.

And your point is.....? That he’s just another redneck asshole with money?

Shut yer yap, stupid redneck....

How many licks does it take to get to the center of a tootsie roll pop? The world may never know...

Stick it in yer ear, redneck...

Yes. I spoke my opinions in the same manner as he did. He made a threatening statement in regards to anyone not standing for the anthem. Pretty much pure straight redneck dumbfuckery, of which I am keenly familiar with, having grown up in the deep rural south. So if he wants to be like that then I too can be the same.

The First amendment guarantees the right to express opinion, free speech as well as the right to protest. There is nothing in the constitution or law that states that you must stand for the anthem or flag. To suggest otherwise is suggesting that one one obey a non-existent law, which is contrary to the way the
