Was about to come to say the same thing. Whoever is in charge of design at the Lexus division needs to either consider another role or let someone else handle it because their design language these days is simply horrible.

... and if the models shown is indicative of the advertising they plan to use then clearly they’re not interested in showing any kind of diversity.

Please be careful with this thing. While your last Jeep also had some nasty frame rot at least it didn’t weigh that much and couldn’t go over 40MPH. With this thing its a whole nuther’ ball of wax: A heavy vehicle capable of freeway speeds. As in if the frame or suspension fails in a spectacular way you could be in

I think its more that they bet on the wrong horse. Hydrogen will never make it off the ground as a viable means. There isn’t the infrastructure whereas an electrical outlet is always at hand and by its very nature hydrogen is pretty inefficient since its an energy carrier versus a source.

I had another friend who went there last year. According to him most transactions were still using cash and that in order to be good for the evening you HAD to get to an ATM machine before they closed, which tended to be early. No cash? too bad...

The seeming lag from the likes of Toyota and Honda- both pioneers in hybrid vehicles made for the masses- is frustrating. It makes no sense because they were so far ahead in many ways. The Prius was introduced in Japan back in 1997. If you think about that NONE of the big three or anyone else had anything like it

The design looks almost... “American”, as in I could’ve seen this design having been some future Lincoln concept ( I wish anyway )

That thing was moving!

Is it a surprise? Mitsubishi has been making shit cars and vehicles for years. Why would this be any different?

That thing is ugly as sin. It seriously looks like one of those weird kit cars from the 80's that lamely tried to emulate some long-gone classic car from the 20's-30's.

Are they still junk? I ask because yesterday while I was out for a run I recall hearing a vehicle coming up from behind me making a nasty clunking sound. I figured well... must be some old piece of shit with either a broken piston rod, loose engine mounts or who knows what.

Don’t destroy the car. Instead, sell it and use the money for your project. Seems like a no-brainer to me...

It’d be nice if someday we could go back to having a country where every fucking issue is some immature, childish thing. Americans need to seriously grow up. You don’t want to salute the flag? Fine. That’s your business. Want to salute the flag? Go for it. Otherwise shut the hell up.

Still tickles me at just how hard the other big car companies are so desperate at trying to develop a “Tesla-Killa” and yet most won’t be ready for another 2-3 years. By that time Tesla will probably be ready to reveal a second generation Model S.

This is the Behavior you get when a grown adult gets all of their “news” from Fox, listens to Rush daily, probably participates on various weird conspiracy theory web sites or forums, voted for Trump and of course is a member of the NRA....

You know.... Its nice for once to see an American automaker actually take an initiative to invest, build and focus on higher technology. So much more different than saying:” Fuck it... we’re gonna’ just build big ass trucks and SUVs” So good for GM.

At this point I really don’t give one flying fuck what ANY of those GOP party members think. If that is really what they think then they need to do their jobs and get the man impeached and out of the White House.

I’m surprised the company is even still in existence at this point.

Are their designers drunk?

People are stupid. Whadaya’ bet that when its over the price will be pretty close to MSRP...
