A Farmall Tractor.

If he’s flabergassed by that he should come to where I grew up in Tennessee: people there seem to enjoy sticking cars on blocks and just leaving them there... for decades.

I love Tesla. They are a game-changer. They’ve made the electric car a “real” thing. They’re exciting. But the company is taking on WAY too many huge projects all at once. I fail to see how the aquisition of SolarCity fits into their immediate plans, which is for the release of the Model 3. While I “get” the

Agreed. IMHO it is wayyyyy too busy. As in I have to really look to remember where the AC or heater controls are. But I barely use those anyway. That and it for some stupid reason annoys me when cleaning the panels that all of the buttons click even though the car is off.

The first gen for really cheap used. I’m hoping the same will happen with the new one. We got ours with 29k miles for $19k

Yeah, the back seat is more or less there for the battery. I'm 5ft 7 and even I have a hard time back there. I've heard the new one is better though.

I own a 5 year Volt, my first non-Toyota vehicle. I’ve put 80,000 miles on it so far and so far, no problems. Its just a solid all-around commuting machine.

I don’t blame him and before you all flame me, hear me out. I say this perhaps with rose colored glasses as I own a 11' Volt I bought used 3 years ago.

Yipee. Another bullshitty, bullshit concept. Is this even real or is it just some lame 3D model?

Here is my guess about what will happen today:

This looks really generic, as in it looks like EVERY OTHER sports car that’s come out from either Honda, Nissan or Toyota over the past decade. Whatever happened to the 80's and 90's when Toyota had some balls and actually put out some truly cutting edge looking designs, some of which still looks great today?

I too am sort of smallish at 142 pounds and thus I am amazed you could ride this thing without immediately falling over.

Seems doable. I wonder exactly how different is the bolt pattern of the 2.2 Ford diesel versis the gas variation?

What a cool idea! Any word on whether these would be available in the US?

The review very much reminds me of when my wife and I rented a Chevy Aveo. Small and cute? Yup. Fun to drive? No. Perhaps the most “Un-fun” car I’ve ever driven with god-awful everything: Handling, braking, acceleration, and interior comfort: ALL terrible....

My brother and I got in big trouble one day when we took Mom’s 89' Camry offroading ( back then it was a newer car) . We were surprised at how well it did but wound up scratching up the passenger side on trees.

My faith in humanity is restored whenever I see something like this. What a nice and truly heart-felt thing to do!

My elderly car turned 61 a few months ago. Its a tad creaky but not bad for a boat-on-wheels.

I arrived here a bit later in around 2000. In fact I and 4 other Tennesseans arrived right when the dot-com began imploding. It was AWFUL. Rents were so high that we all crammed ourselves into a small 2 bedroom apartment in Richmond not far from the refinery because we had no money and that was the only thing we could

Ha ha ha!
