No, its more that one of your writers made that claim and as seen in the responses was heavily criticized. The article was pretty lame, proclaiming that by golly, why don’t people just buy a Honda Fit instead? That’s simply bad journalism.

I actually work on vintage tube equipment, and if there’s something that I would suggest which is that if you do decide to ever sell it, make sure and sell it to another organ enthusiast. The reason I say that is because there are “audio fools” Who will strip it just for the amp and toss the rest, which is a real

If there's anything to make fun of its BMW making a really lame attempt at trying to compare their car which goes less distance on the battery than the plugin Prius to the model 3.

I disagree with ya there: Classic Hammonds are highly coveted these days.

All I can think of when I see this is.... Magnum. Magnum PI...

Screw BMW. This supposed “Tesla fighter” goes.... wait for it.... 14 miles on the battery. My 5 year old Volt goes 40 and the new one goes 52. My Volt nor the new one is no Tesla Model 3 and BMW must think we’re idiots if they think we’re fooled.

Yup, and I mentioned to another guy here that my dad had this same experience. He bought a Nissan Sentra that had been in some sort of flash flood. The car would at random just shut down. One time it did this when I was on the freeway, which was scary as shit. We too got rid of that thing.

My Dad did just this very thing. He bought a used Nissan Sentra that had been submerged up to the door sills. He got it for $800 which seemed cheap but the car would then at random just shut down on the freeway. We replaced the ECU, the wires, and some of stuff but it was never trustworthy. Lesson learned.

Exactly. This is the kind of car I can totally imagine being a great deal of fun... that is until it comes times to change the oil and find that the oil filters can only be bought from the dealership and that they need to be ordered and shipped from Italy since they’re out of stock. Either that or the transmissions

Yes. Some people are drawn, like moths to potential disaster projects. I’ve been one of those people on occasion.

Flood damage? run. Run far away...

The people in the picture look so happy....

How much, if anything does Bob Lutz still have to do with this?

Yeah because the 330e and Model 3 are sooooooo similar. Why wait for a Model 3 and 200+ all EV miles when you can get a 330e that goes less than half the EV distance than a first gen Volt?

The earth is flat.

Yet people will buy them. If people buy the BMW i3, which is heads and tails uglier then they’ll but this as well.

The Fit is a gas powered car. If you don’t understand why people buy EV’s rather than a Honda Fit then no need to write an article about it.

PS: The Bolt will be on sale in a few months. The Model 3 will be sometime in the next year and only if you got on the waiting list. Big difference.

What a load of crap. Seriously. How can one determine the success of a car when its not even on sale? I mean cmon’. The Nissan Leaf is heads and tails uglier than this and they sell the snot out of those cars. The Chevy Volt has been outselling all of the other plugins ever since the latest generation came out. And

Pretty much true. Now I feel all better!
