Oh... its so “Achingly” beautiful, that whole Mondrian thingy with the paint.

So yes. You own a Porsche. Thus your initial response.
I lived in Boston for 2 years. The public transit system is about 200% better than the one in SF and makes owning a car totally pointless. That and every time there was a big snow storm I recall the snow plows coming through and totally covering up all the cars parked on the sides of the road. The salt also eats cars…
Yay! Someone gets it. Exactly. I commute in a sea of BMW 3 series, C class Mercedes, Audi A3’s and then on top of that the slew of upper level variations of those cars. Its just interesting to me because for some of us who know better the majority of these cars are prone to awful reliability issues. But that’s not the…
Actually I did. But in regards to my opinions of drivers, well if you don’t agree with that asessment then fine. As a forum you can lambast away. But whether I care or not is another matter.
Explain how you would come to that conclusion. If you want to know the truth personally I think its pretty stupid to spend 80k on a car. Any car. OTOH My house on the coast will be paid for in another 5 years and I’ll probably retire before I’m 55. Ask me how jealous I’ll be of all the poor saps working until they’re…
Looking “agressive” is what the design of the Corvette has been throughout its history. Not sure what the design of the Porsche is supposed to be as its more of an egg, lozenge shape...
Maybe because Porsche never changes their design and thus has an already “dated” style pedigree.
You’re the one that said it, not I. If you don’t like my opinions you don’t have to reply. Who’s modding me? Whos modding you?
Clearly you don’t know how forums work and given that the post above was asking precisely for our opinions of which I obliged so much for your “superior” comment.
You didn’t have to respond, sport, buddy-ole-pal...
... and that reaction would be interesting if only it were true seeing as how I could buy both of these cars for cash if I wanted to...
Why are cars so much over there? Would it be the same deal if someone imported a cheap car like a Mustang?
The term “originality” was more in regards to the fact that at least here in the Bay Area it seems like Porsches are almost cookie cutter due to the large quantities of wealthier folks ( or folks who want to appear so) and so seeing a Corvette is a much less frequent occurence. I wouldn’t buy either car but if it were…
Well, what’ll likely happen is that the part of the pipe immediately after the exhaust port will burn off right away. The rest will be fine. I found that I would generally have to repaint that part of the pipe around every 3-4 months. As far as the paint that worked best for me I found that the Duplicolor engine paint…
No
After years of experience I can say that without much doubt that no matter what paint you put on an exhaust pipe it will burn off within a few months at most. I’ve never had any high heat paint last that long. A friend of mine years ago would simply get the exhaust hot and spray WD-40 on it and when it burned off it…
Oh yeah? Every time I see someone driving a Porsche I think “ Oh, another overcompensating dude who even if they didn’t the aforementioned dysfunction probably has other concerns such as the small size of said member...”
Seeing as how I didn’t mention what my feelings were in regards to how I feel about what others felt about what I drive I fail to see how you came to that conclusion. And yes, I do realize I listed almost the entire luxury segment and the comment still stands. I’m guessing at this point you must own one of these…
SF the city has to be... the WORST city to own a car in. To me it makes owning either car sort of pointless.
