Agreed. Her car has a ton of torque and handles really well. To me the electrical issues are sort of similar to the situation Lucas Electrics had. The connectors uses are simply a bad design. That causes too much resistance and that eventually burns out some of the contacts.

Most of my mother in law's VW problems wern't tied to the car's care. For example the windshield wiper motor bracket actually snapped off one day. The interior lights have random shorts and flicker. The power windows failed. The EGR and intake clogged with carbon deposits. The alternator failed. The clutch prematurely

The thing is ugly. I get it. Truck buyers are more conservative on styling. But this looks like it was cast from a cardboard box mockup.

I wouldn't buy one of those if they were free. The sheer volume of people I've personally known who've had catastrophic failures with their VW's is enough to convince me to look elsewhere. My mother in law owns a VW Jetta TDI Wagon. Its even brown with a manual. Its also the biggest POS on wheels with a constant

The Jura looks pretty similar to what the Trans Sport was supposed to look like before the production version came out.

crrrrrrraaaaacccckkk price

The comic "BRAAP" makes it look like they're supposed to sound like they are farting. I'm game for that.

They're generally ok until 200-250k or so then they seem to mysteriously self-destruct. So they're not... horrible but not fantastic either.

nope. Secretly it's the new upcoming Chevette. Itll be a huge hit.

must be ghosts in them BMW's.

Wrong analogy. Let's say someone decided to develop the latest greatest EV. There are of course several ways to do so. Both designs do the same thing. One design uses 3 times as many parts to do the same job as one using far fewer. Naturally the more complicated variant will have more chances of breaking down.

I want to not believe that one side is "worse" than the other. But I probably agree with you that the GOP has gone off the deep end. They have a big problem in coping with demographic changes and since they seem to continually insist on relying more on older tactics of relying on their traditional base their stances

Apologies! I would have to agree with your assessment.

My Father is the same way too. The thing is that most Republican voters are just like most Democratic voters. Most have common sense and for the most part think within reason and their ideas aren't exactly totally that far from my own as a democrat. On BOTH sides the super far left and right seems to be heard the most

Note: I didn't say anything about steering wheels. But you are pretty clever with your unique observations. Did you know these are both cars? Who woulda' thunk? Secondly, I think.... these both might run on gas. What a coincidence! Oh- and I believe they might also have 4 wheels a peice but I'm not sure...

Of course they would. Why build something off of a proven reliable design when the design can be made that much more overly-complicated? Pretty typical BMW.

yup it is.

That's a Cruz but the Impala one is nice. GM used to make the most awful car interiors known to man. I own a Volt now and its interior is surprisingly nice and comfortable. Such a difference from something like a 90's Pontiac Grand Am.

I think what makes a HUGE difference with the interior of the Tesla is that there isn't a center hump. It actually reminds me more of some of the newer designs coming from BMW. Still- I might get a little of where you are coming from. The large screens could have been more cleanly incorporated into the dash. As they

LOL.... what a clown.... everyone, not just from this planet, but from the entire universe can see what a colossal eeeeeeediot you are.
