You don’t have to be a millennial to know that the ends of these games are way too long. Go the NFL route with a two-minute warning (or three or four), and then no timeouts.

Would have loved to see the NBA Live series for Genesis and SNES on the list, but not gonna fault you for leaving them off, as sports games don’t age particularly well.

Not to be that guy, but Toadstool is definitely not the best character in the game. She’s the slowest at picking up items, which is a real drag when you have to dig through sand. Sure she can float, but that skill doesn’t make up for her lack of speed in other areas.*
