A former late NC state law maker who my great-granny helped bring into the world, said that “black folks had more drive, ingenuity.”

Any docu-series or documentaries about African-American cultures and historical events will always get my support.

I agree, we need to pick better battles. And why care about this show anyway? We don’t watch in numbers and nobody under 60 years old watches.

This is exactly like that time (also pointed out in the Today.com article) that people freaked out over the ice scream truck song because one asshole made a racist variation of it.

The only reason people are SHOCKED at this is because they don’t know history.

Really? This is what the Black community is chasing now? Jumping at every shadow and slight?

I can honestly believe that the puzzle writers were too stupid to know the origins of this rhyme, and that this was done from ignorance instead of malice.

The hopefully pending lawsuit can also be described as a misunderstanding.

This isn’t for you, Mr. Spaceman. It’s for the idiot hanging off your comment in the greys:

I’m paraphrasing Dr. Carr “They’ve replaced our memories with theirs.” This is one of many reasons black folks in America don’t know who we are. Well, he may have gotten from someone else, I can’t remember. But either way, I heard him say it and it’s true. They taught us Africa was nasty and dirty. They taught

whose captors managed to take control of the boat”

See; the Lingering Effects Of......

Hatred and racism clearly Trump common sense. None of that needed to happen if someone had thought to check a few things out before pulling out the handcuffs. But racism...*sigh*

Ask to see his registration. Run the plates. Ask the couple to prove their truck was stolen and not just take their word for it.

How easy is it to confirm the truck’s owner? This incident should have been cleared up within minutes of the arrival of the police. Now those same police have carelessly committed the crime of false arrest.

I like watching it when I feel down. Her getting shot does always put a stupid smile on my face.

Dennis Plowden Jr. was an unarmed man who posed no threat when he was murdered by a criminal cop. I’m sure the stupid racist piece of shit I just flagged and dismissed cries a river over domestic terrorist Ashli Babbitt who was legally shot dead when trying to overthrow the United States at the Capitol on January 6th.

You think potential assault and criminals charges is a little discomfort?

Probablt. I would still wrather avoid getting in a fight with a random stranger. A friend, yeah, would have told them to sit down and shut up. But like I said, not risking legal problems or injury to do securities job for them.

I mean, I would just get up and leave. I don’t want to get into a fight over someone being an ass to someone else. One that could result in legal issues for me. It sucks for the victim, but it’s the ref’s and security’s job to handle it, not mine.
