Lol I never actually said that I necessarily disagree with you (although I do), I just would prefer something to back up such a relatively extravagant claim.

... Because your magic 8 ball said so?

Wait wait wait, the ride is too soft on the Fiesta ST? Where do you live where you have literally the world’s smoothest roads?

But you don’t really need a supercharger every day. And with 200+ miles of range, you should still be able to get around with just charging at your home overnight. The superchargers are generally just for longer trips (at least that’s my understanding).

My best bet is that an AWD system can’t be packaged in the Fiesta. It’s already a small car, and I don’t know if it’s even realistically possible to put a rear diff on a twistbeam...

Yeah, but as others have pointed out, the Focus ST gives you more space and more power and is (generally) a better daily driver. The ride is a bit better too. And given the cost, that’s probably why you see a lot of Focus STs but not as many Fiesta STs.

Going against the grain a bit here, but I think this is a very interesting idea. Of course, as someone who enjoys a little extra throttle action every now and then, I would want the ability to turn this feature off.

Did you read the article?

You have to remember manufacturing tolerances though. Worst case scenario, for example, let’s say you get a vehicle with the strongest engine (manufacturing tolerances on the ‘high’ side), but with the weakest differential (manufacturing tolerances on the ‘low side’). In that case, “350 ft-lbs torque” might be close
