There’s also a cultural difference between Moore and Miller though. Miller grew up in Cold-War era America, when there was a very right-wing sensibility to American society and culture. Moore on the other hand grew up in the rock and roll/punk eras of Brit/Euro culture, where left-wing values weren’t stamped out like…
Remember that the Japanese version used the Famicom Disk System, so it’s actually very different from the NES version, at least from a technical standpoint. The same applies to Metroid and quite a few other games.
The encyclopedia makes a great coffee table book.
something like 90% of the guns in CSGO pull up and to the right, IIRC. The random factor of bullet spread means you’ll never be 100% accurate, but compensating for recoil can give you a much smaller and more accurate grouping of shots. The best way to practice is to make an empty game and spray at a wall from varying…
The Dualshock 4 specifically. The Sixaxis and Dualshock 3 are terribad.
Watchmen is supposed to be boring. That’s the whole point.
Miller isn’t afraid of pissing people off and creating controversy. That’s why people like his work, and that’s why people don’t stop talking about the guy. Comics are generally a pretty stagnant medium, and controversial stuff is often either retconned or explained away. Miller challenges that stigma. Yes he’s a…
That was actually after a patch that made them that way. There was a time when the CSS hitboxes were very close to the model while in motion, but they changed it for “lag compensation” or something like that. People were upset. CSGO’s hitboxes worked in almost the same way back at launch, but they’ve since been…
That’s really weird. It sounds like the game uses hitscan for the visual bullet impacts but the actual damage uses those projectiles.
The AK is actually somewhat spray-worthy for covering fire if need be (mind you, this is mostly a pub tactic). If your recoil compensation is decent you can get in 5-6 shots, as well.
That's actually really strange. Maybe reinstall the game and/or Xinput drivers (there should be a disc that came with the controller, if you bought a wired one. It is a 360 pad, yes?)
I’m just gonna list off all the games I’ve played with plug-and-play xinput support that works fine without tweaking any settings:
Funny, I was playing it in 2010 and it detected my 360 pad and worked like a charm. It even let me swap to KBM on the fly if I wanted to. I played through all of L4D2 on my 360 pad without issue.
Bullshit. A 360 pad is 100% plug-and-play with L4D2, and works exactly the same if not better. The same applies to almost every other game with Xinput support.
Now you can kill your son AND nuke Boston! It’s the best of both worlds. Mods are great.
