Close enough for us in America.
Close enough for us in America.
I have to disagree. As a black person who, for a time, could not pick up a single book without encountering some throw-away line disparaging black people or using the N-word—even in books that HAD no black characters or where the terms and comments had absolutely nothing to do with the plot—being forced to…
Except...in Huck Finn the n-word is historically realistic, and it's used by racist characters who the book condemns for their racism. So editing it out is stupid.
Laci Green, I think?
The fact that it took you less than a minute to come up with an answer takes this comment to 11.
Also, the unofficial motto for the Capital is, "Welcome to DC. Ann Taylor is on your left." This is literally applicable for those arriving to Union Station.
I really only have one question. Seeing as it's already just a nutmeg and some cloves away, has Skyline already combined food heresies by making pumpkin spice chili?
"The cost of living here is hilariously cheap."
Just... stop saying crap like this. The reason this is the case, and you and I both know this, is because nobody voluntarily lives there. It's like coming across a house that costs half of the homes surrounding it: You know it's been a meth lab, the site of a horrible…
Honestly, don't do it. Grew up in Ohio and I like durian way better.
Yeah, you can buy a mansion in Akron for the price that someone living by the coasts pays for a one bedroom condo.
Just because both this and the Chelsea Clinton stuff have a common theme (namely that Republicans are massive assholes) doesn't mean that they're all that similar. People can be massive assholes in various different ways.
"Well, maybe I will come to your country then. And eat all of your bread!"
Not to mention that in many cultures its completely normal and expected for adult children to stick around in some capacity. I live in Miami and its extremely common for children to stay living at home for a very long time. It makes everyone happy.
Saying that it's not "remotely healthy" to live with your parents is also really culturally narrow-minded. There are lots and lots of cultures in which families stick together that way.
It is interesting that something which has been the norm in American society up until just very recently and is still the norm in many other societies you would call not even "remotely healthy."
Its great that you love your family! But that doesn't mean that its actually remotely healthy for you to still be living with them.
Oh sincere Twitter overtures to celebrities is a biggie.
Just because he joined the good guys does not make him any less the turncoat. INDEED!
Irrational positive thinking is called recklessness, and if you can't tell rational positivity from irrational positivity... you're probably quite gullible.
Not trying to hijack this, but the cat in the picture: born a Fremen or just regularly exposed to the Melange?
