Ohhhhh, I missed the edit to ram the anecdote up my ass. (though you essentially told me to do the same thing twice)

Numbers are hard. I legitimately assumed this was just a bad troll job at the start.
I was just trying to illustrate it in a fairly elementary way that was apparently a bit too much.
Not missing that, in the slightest.
No, just no.
Even better! It’s a pretty great name regardless.
This would really complicate your username though.
“Volkswagen asked Audi if it could use its 2.5-liter five-cylinder”
.....
Absolutely. I love the game of cat and mouse between tire technology and engine output that seems to be going on.
I have good news for you.
With Porsche’s propensity for understating 0-60 times this thing could go sub 2.5 perhaps. Either way it’s insane.
I was about the same, but a bit earlier. While I was hoping we might get some small run of Mk8 ST’s I assumed we were doomed when they announced small car cancellation in NA.
I’ll be doing the same with my FiST. Mostly just using that Mk8 as an example because the Performance Edition only comes in the 3 door. I would certainly consider a 5 door if both were available, but in the FiST the backseat is basically worthless as is.
If Ford let me buy this, I would gladly trade in my Mk 7 ST yesterday.
I see why you thought that, but it’s actually on the Blanco River right outside of Blanco, it’s a neat little spot for sure.
Nice, I’m in agreement for sure. I just like the Jets because I feel better/safer about riding around on an aluminum rim rather than trashing a carbon rim like a set of Stingers.
God I love those bikes, talk about a keeper. Mine are Jet 5's, it looks like you have a Jet 5 and Jet 7 rear? They don’t look like Stingers, but I’m known to be wrong quite often.
