Seriously... if you can't stop to avoid something at the edge of your vision you are driving too fast. In clear conditions maybe his speed was safe on that road. But with the fog? He's lucky he didn't join the Flex.

I drove an '86 one of these. The distributor cap was bad... every time it rained you had to warm up the car fully before you could shut it off and expect it to re-start, or wait at least a half hour until it dried out. Short trips to the store were brutal.
You can tell from the wiper blade on the rear window that it's a hatch, the sedan doesn't have it. They're more common than I thought once I knew what to look for.
