Little Miss Muffett starts again

There are actually a number of articles written about this, particularly because of the regional/generational divides on usage. It is most common in American children but usage drops as they get older.

Except not necessarily. By accident is favored by those over 35 and not from the US. On accident is far more common with Americans and those under 35.

THIS. I finally figured out that shit will stink no matter what and I replaced that thing with a small trash can with a lid, that I empty frequently. Smells way better.

You know that iconic doesn’t mean first, right?

I loved every second of this performance.

For the opening number of an awards show, it’s best not to reference a recent iconic performance from another artist at another award show.

Twist: It will be revealed that Jax lied about buying the house and unbeknownst to Brittney, they have actually been squatting in an Ikea for eight months. No one gets a house in the divorce but Brittney gets a lucrative sponcon deal for Ikea’s swedish meatballs.

I think it’s fine if celebrities defend themselves, but Munn was just wrong and her “defense” was ridiculous and overblown. I haven’t seen any response at all from the GFY writers (I may have missed it) but I don’t think there’s anything to support your claim that they can dish it out but can’t take it.

....Except that fashion is part of most celebrities’ jobs. I think talking about what someone wears to Starbucks is dumb, but the red carpet is fair game. There are plenty of celebrities who opt out of this too (skipping red carpets, not entering into deals with designers, etc.).

Sincerely asking-- is there any scenario where you think it would be acceptable to critique someone’s outfit? Because I think if someone is on a red carpet, and they are getting paid by some fashion house to wear a $10,000 gown, I am allowed to have and share an opinion on that with other people who are interested in

She can use her platform however she wants. But she did a poor job of it this time. If she wanted to go after websites that shame women, she should have picked a website that actually shames women. By ignoring more problematic sites that give her better coverage and choosing to target a fluffy site that generally

Just an FYI, GFY covers men and women and they are fanatical about avoiding any hint of body shaming-- both in their posts and in the comments.

Even when they are at an event and are paid by a fashion house to wear certain clothes? Even when they walk down a red carpet, stopping and posing in front of photographers who are there to take pictures of their outfits? We all know what these celebrities look like. The fashion is part of the celebrity industry.

Yeah no. They aren’t critiquing people walking through the grocery store, they are critiquing celebrities who appear on red carpets for the express purpose of being photographed. And I guarantee that there are celebrities and publicists who use intentionally bad fashion as an attention-getter just as others try to use

If the goal is to encourage students to take pride in their appearance, shaming their parents is the exact opposite way to achieve that.

...And even if it were in the heat of the moment, it would be her job to come back to the press the next day to clarify and correct. Which she never did.

Whenever they announce the end of Sabrina, they better announce the spinoff for Prudence same-day. She is the best character for sure.

Running a mile in gym class was the single most terrifying, humiliating thing I have ever been through. It’s just the worst.

Nice burner.
